What determines initial coin offering success: a cross-country study

This study investigates the determinants of presence and success initial coin offering (ICO) campaigns using data on 503 ICOs from 60 countries launched between 2015 2018. The analysis is based an individual project, considering a country-wide perspective. results show that while insider retention resource-related signals, such as number team members advisors, contribute positively to ICO’s funding post-ICO activity, presale offers bonuses contributed negatively. Additionally, highlight country’s financial system development ICO-related legal friendliness boost market. also documents culture strongly determines ICO issue but less so its long-term performance.
